Replacing wooden gate with sheep-proof metal kissing gate at Publow
An old wooden gate at Publow had become unserviceable, allowing sheep to escape. We were working in an idyllic setting above the church.

First we cleared the site and started digging the holes.

The gate was installed and we dug more holes for the cage.

Some final touches and the gate was complete.

Replacing two stiles with a kissing gate at Nempnett Thrubwell
This proved to be an epic struggle, hampered by a tree growing right where the kissing gate cage needed to go, by a sheet of rock that had to be chiselled through to get the cage legs planted, and by water from previous heavy rain pooling in the bottom of all the holes! All in all, one of the team's latest finishes!
